You Can Look All You Want But How Do You Truly Get A Job In Sales?

I keep a TV on in my office and listen to a financial news station while I work. Lately, all I hear about is job cuts and layoffs. I hear the numbers but I think about the families that have to be under a great deal of stress.

I just want to reach out and remind them that when one door closes another door opens. In this economy, you may have to force that new door to open but know it will open. That open door may be the answer to how to start a sales career.

I also think about those that thought they could retire but now have to face the reality that they lost too much of their retirement savings. I can’t imagine how much that must hurt and how difficult it must be for them to return to work.

Why Not Start A Sales Career?

In June, a health group of new graduates will be looking for their first job. Finding a job without having any work experience will be a difficult task in this highly competitive employment market. I truly wish them the best of success.

I started thinking about this subject when I ran across a bunch of career training advertisements. They have bar tending schools, and schools on cosmetology, court reporting and massage therapy. Now, there is nothing wrong with these professions because it’s all about “different strokes for different folks”. There is always free sales training available on the Net.

What bothers me about these vocational training “institutes” is that the classes take months to complete. They are also so expensive that they offer financial aid packages. You also have to wonder if anyone of these programs will ever lead to a six-figure income.

What about a career choice for someone that is ambitious and not interested in becoming a dental assistant? There should be and there is room for all personality types. When you work, you should work at something you enjoy. So, what about a person that fits this profile,

Ambitious
Interested in earning six figures
Highly motivated to succeed
Desires the freedom to plan their day
Looking for career advancement opportunities

There is a place for these people and that place is in professional sales. Sell something you have an interest in or that you are passionate about. This way you’ll enjoy what you are doing and you’ll already have some product knowledge. That’s not a bad start but you still have to get hired and you have to also master sales strategies.

The good news is that there is a sales process training program that shows you how to get hired in a sales position. The program also shows you how to master the sales skills you’ll need to succeed in your new sales career. The sales training doesn’t take months to complete and it’s so inexpensive that financial aid packages are not necessary. Best yet, you’ll train in the comfort of your own home watching DVDs and listening to CDs. If you expect to succeed in sales, you must start with entry level sales training .

A career in professional sales isn’t for everyone. Some people love being security guards or medical assistants and they should work in those fields. However, if you are interested in a professional sales career, you should investigate this sales career training program. It’s the only way to blow past your sales quotas.

The program is called “Six Figure Career In A Box”. It’s not right for everyone but it may be the perfect option for you.

My best to you!
