How about great advice concerning selling in this difficult economy. The key is to stay motivated. It requires some strength, but you can stay motivated.

It may not be easy but this is a good time to pay attention to sales practices and a good time to overlooking economy. This difficult economy has paralyzed too many salespeople. The only way to succeed in sales is to “want to sell”. Is your motivation needs a little push in a better direction, consider not thinking about the economy. I’m a sales trainer, not a motivational speaker or “rah rah” person, however, having the right attitude is so very important! Forget excuses because we don’t have time for them. Prospects still need our products. Let the competition sit around while you stay busy capturing all their business. How much fun would that be! When selling in a difficult economy, stay focused on prospecting.

THE RIGHT ATTITUDE TO SELL IN A DIFFICULT ECONOMY

We can’t trick ourselves about the economy yet you can sell more in a difficult economy. The economy is slow but we can’t let it slow us down. The “ride this difficult economy out” feeling is no strategy for outstanding sales success.

Put the difficult economy on hold for a few days and use that time to reestablish your motivation. Stop reading about the economy and stop discussing the economy and get back to selling.
