How To Become A One Call Close Machine

The one call close is where the sales action takes place. Major account sales tend to go on forever but that not the case when it comes to the one call close.  There is no room for error in the one call close and you only get one opportunity to get it right. I have some advice for you about the one call close.

The one call close involves marching through every step in the sales process during a single appointment. You start with a prospect and wind up with a client. I have great respect for those that mastered the one call close. It’s one appointment and one order, then on to the next prospect.

I do see some common errors when I work with reps that want to perfect their one call close. One area has to do with building rapport and trust with their prospect. This is a very important step in the sales process and it should not be rushed. Take an appropriate amount of time to get to know your prospect and to allow your prospect to get to know you. It’s all about comfort and trust.

Another common one call close error has to do with sales objections. Too many sales reps address an objection only to be tossed another objection. Never address a sales objection until all objections have been expressed. When you hear your first objection, ask your prospect if these is anything else on their mind. I hope you’ll remember this advice on your next one call close.

The one call close is all about the Sales Process. If you have yet to master the Sales Process, I urge you to get some sales training on the subject. The only way to succeed at the one call close is to be fully proficient in all aspects of the sales process.

I wish you great sales success!
