Sales Training Reviews That Hit The Target
Besides being a student of salesmanship, I’m also a student of sales training. I can tell you there are some outstanding sales trainers and their training can and should put more commissions in your pocket. However, I also ran across a few sales trainers that left me wondering about the benefits of their material. Perhaps you’ll agree with my sales training reviews.
“Practice What You Preach” Sales Training Review
This is a review of a sales trainer that presents a lot of information about “price”. His material is all about selling at a higher price and addressing the price objection. I haven’t seen his program and for all I know, the sales training material may be great. My concern is that he reduced the price of his DVD by 50%.
“Not Sure It Will Work” Review
I just had to add this next one to my sales training reviews. This sales trainer encourages reps to meditate and imagine that they are sending a beam of light to their prospect. Now, I’m open to new things but do you think this works? I’d have a hard time selling this one to the reps I know. Who knows?
Over Promise / Under Deliver
I need to mention this group in my sales training reviews. I have a problem with trainers that say their sales techniques will work all the time. Sales is an art, not a science. Nothing works all the time.
Positive Sales Training Reviews
I benefit the most from sales trainers that spent a good amount of time as, salespeople. They don’t make up stuff in some classroom. They know what works because their strategies are field-tested. It also helps if their presentations are clear and packed with energy. My hat is off to this group of sales trainers.
As you can see, I’ve been thinking about sales training this morning so I decided to write a review about some sales training pros and cons.
Now, I’m going for a run on the beach.
To your sales success!
Nick
