Your head is in the right place. You are searching for some sales training tips that will put more commissions in your pockets. I have a few that I’m happy to share with you.

Let’s begin with sales training tips about prospecting. Do you call prospects to tell them about your wonderful product or special discounted prices? If so, I urge you to stop that practice. Instead of focusing on your product, focus on the benefits your clients enjoy by using your product or service.

It would be a long day for me if I called sales executives to tell them about my great new sales training program. However, if I began my conversation with benefits, I always get more than my fair share of hits. “I’ve increased sales at the XYZ Company by 20% in 60 days and I may be able to do the same for you.”

Sales reps are always search for sales training tips about closing. Fact is, closing is the easiest step in the sales process. That said, I still want to give some advise on closing sales.

Insure your prospect is closed before you ask for the order. You accomplish that by asking your prospect “acceptance questions” during your product presentation.

“Is this what you’re looking for?”
“Can you see how this will…?”
