Nick Moreno’s Sales Tips Now On Social Networking

Well, I finally did it. I got my Twitter account and now I’m Tweeting. The goal is to provide my followers with updated sales tips on Twitter. Social networking has sure grown and I need to be a part of it.

It took me too long to get my Twitter account because I was searching for the right application. Who wants updates on my personal life? I think we all have better things to do with our time than reading about what I had for lunch today. I know I have much better things to write about.

I decided to notify my followers of updated sales tips on Twitter. I know some people Tweet all days long. That’s not my plan. I’ll only send out my sales tips on Twitter every few days.

My hope is that sales reps will benefit from receiving these sales tips on Twitter. A hot sales tip may be just what some sales reps need to perk up the day. In any event, that’s the goal of my Twitter account. You can’t ignore the power behind social networking. It should be part of all corporate sales training.

I now see that LinkedIn allows you to add your Twitter account to your profile. I added my Twitter to my LinkedIn profile today. It’s just one more way for me to deliver free sales training and free sales tips on Twitter.
