As sales lessons go, how about one that addresses today’s climate. Even during these difficult times, most sales reps are able to maintain healthy attitudes. However, other reps are not so lucky and they need some powerful sales lessons to get on the right track. Well, if they need sales lessons, I have a few great sales lessons for them in this article.
This messed up economy has messed up the heads of too many great reps. These reps need sales lessons that will get them back in the race. These reps will never succeed with the damage their attitudes suffered thanks to this down economy. Only the right sales lessons will get them moving in the right direction and help them to close more sales.
Many reps think sales lessons involve sales tricks. I’m not involved or interested in sales lessons that involve sales tricks.

Too many reps blame their failure entirely on the economy. These reps feel their sales skills are just fine and it’s the economy that deserves all the blame. That’s why these reps need some hard-hitting sales lessons. I need to get into their heads and turn things around. That’s a tall order for any sales lessons but it’s the only way to get more orders.
Sales lessons that force people to see what they don’t want to see have to be to the point. Are you ready for such sales lessons? These sales lessons are not sales secrets. These sales lessons come from my sales training videos.
My sales lessons remind these reps that when the economy was strong, they never point to the economy as the reason for their sales success. When the economy was strong, these reps claimed their success based on their sales skills and hard work. In other words, their success had nothing to do with the economy. So why is the economy now at the center of their failure. See the point of these sales lessons?

Sales lessons will also motivate those reps that simply stopped trying. Too many reps “checked out” until the economy gets better. How is that a plan to succeed? Besides, who knows how long the turndown will last? We need better sales lessons than just checking out. Even if you are not earning a ton of commissions, there is always free sales training available on the Net. It may not be great sales training but the price is right.
