Especially in today’s tough job market, the number of resumes received by companies can be a bit overwhelming; so now comes in automation to the rescue. When you email a resume and cover letters to a company or post it on their website, these systems are actually scanning for key words or phrases that match the job description they are trying to fill. As a result, your resume could be totally overlooked if you are not doing a couple things to fix this problem. Read the rest of this entry »
