Lets face it… things are tough. Unemployment is at a multi year high and spending levels are not what they use to be. So, just where do you look for a good job in a slowing economy? Well, I’d like to point you in a direction you may have not been considering.

I want you to consider a job in professional Sales. I know, you’re saying why Sales when no one is spending any money. So, lets cover that point.

Poor Economy

People don’t buy things just to spend money. People buy things to solve a problem. Typically, the problem being solved involves an opportunity to save money or an opportunity to become more productive. During a poor economy, people and companies need to save money and become more efficient.

During a poor economy, people and companies face a ton of problems that can’t be overlooked. Salespeople solve those problems with their products and services. That’s why I feel Sales is one of the best jobs in a poor economy.

Best Jobs

Think about all the extra benefits salespeople enjoy. They are not paid by the hour. Instead, they get paid a salary and commissions. Those commissions should and could lead to a six-figure income. Yes, Sales is one of the best jobs in a poor economy but there is even more to consider.

Salespeople often have the freedom to set their own schedule. Often, they enjoy extra perks like a company car or a car allowance. Add paid expenses to the mix and you’ll see the benefits of Sales over other jobs in a poor economy.

You do need to be careful about deciding which products you decide to sell during a poor economy. Selling to individuals may not be the best road to take in a poor economy. Sell where most of the money exists and that means sell to businesses. Remember, businesses are looking for solutions, so the best job in a poor economy is one in Sales because salespeople deliver those solutions.

Please note that a professional sales career requires sales skills to succeed and this is especially true in a poor economy. Also, Sales Managers are well-trained and clever interviews so you’ll need to be ready to tell them why they should hire you.

There is a program that can show you how to pass the sales interview and give you the sales skills to succeed in any economy… including a poor economy. So, if you agree that Sales is one of the best jobs in a poor economy, you’ll want a copy of “Six Figure Career In A Box”.
